A new website has appeared on the internet making the case for Iran’s peaceful purposes for nuclear energy. The website features a minimalist design, bright and beautiful graphics along with captions that are clearly focused at clarifying misconceptions.

While such application of new media aimed at repositioning has been seen in countries like USA (during elections or when there is a pressing issue with perceived misinformation), this dedicated website from a Middle East country on an issue of a highly sensitive nature is refreshing in itself. This is because it matches the offline message of Iran opening up to the world with this website that opens up the information with a theme that exudes transparency.
