Sorry for the hiatus.

Just to update my site readers, following a review process, my paper entitled “The Concept of Tribes in Marketing and Islam” was accepted for oral presentation at the 4th Global Islamic Marketing Conference in Istanbul, Turkey on May 29-30, 2013. My paper finished amongst top 10 out of 310 papers (both Eng and Arabic) submitted by 200 delegates from over 40 countries. Currently I am preparing the paper for submission to a journal.

The paper looked at the idea of Tribes and how this marketing concept has not been alien to the very success of Islam itself. It concluded by suggesting ways we can move forward and solve some of our most pressing challenges today.

Like all concepts and papers, the next key step is to apply its claims.
